This is "Teddy Baby", who is a Replica of a 1930 bear. This Teddy Baby Bear is style number 0175/29. The bear has the gold embossed Steiff button in his left ear, and the tag attached by the button shows the style number as well as stating that the bear was “Made in West Germany”. The bear also has the original Steiff round cardboard tag attached at the chest, although sometimes it slips off its little plastic tag holder and has to be hung back on. This bear is covered in Mohair, 50% wool and 50% cotton and has a black yarn nose.  He has a red studded collar with a bell. His arms, legs, and head are all jointed and move easily. Felt pads.  A very sweet bear with years of love to give. This bear is in excellent condition with only minor dust and fuzzies from being displayed on an open shelf in a non-smoking home with one Cairn Terrier. This bear does not come with the original box or certificate. He measures 9 1/2” tall when sitting, and is 12” long when laying down. Teddy Baby will be packaged carefully for safe transport.
