CLOVER & CINNAMON is a CHERBEARS pattern for a 13" jointed Teddy bear and comes complete with the material list of what you'll need to get started. Also included are step-by-step full instructions and diagrams on how to make your own personal CHERBEAR. The patterns call for sewn-in glass eyes, but plastic safety eyes can be substituted. All of the patterns are for five-way jointed teddy bears. Also, the bears that are photographed are made of mohair, but I've used synthetic plush for all of these patterns. Synthetic plush is certainly an excellent fabric to use if you are a beginner (cutting into expensive mohair and making a mistake can be very costly!). Experiment with different fabrics for the pads too!I use all of these patterns to make my CHERBEARS that are sold at our store, The Teddy Bear Abbey. It's interesting to see the different looks accomplished with different types of fur! I encourage people to email me with any questions they may have about any of the instructions or any questions in general about making teddy bears (contact information is printed on the pattern cover). I also enjoy seeing the finished products of how other people created their bears using my patterns. Placing the ears and eyes higher, lower, closer together, etc. make for interesting looks!
